We want Devin’s Kitchen to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we do

• Text alternatives for recipe images
• Full keyboard navigation, visible focus outlines and a “skip to content” link
• Color contrast chosen for readability, and text that resizes without breaking the layout
• Animations that turn off when your device is set to reduce motion
• Labeled controls, including the ingredient checklist
