• 1/2 cup (113 g) unsalted butter, melted
• 1 1/2 cups (340 g) cold milk
• 1 package (5.1 oz / 145 g) instant vanilla pudding mix
• 1 package (8 oz / 226 g) cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup (227 g) powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 tub (8 oz / 227 g) whipped topping, thawed, divided
• 2 packages (0.3 oz / 9 g each) cherry gelatin mix
• 2 cups (473 ml) boiling water
• 2 cups (473 ml) cold cherry cola (chilled, not flat)
• Maraschino cherries, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

   In a medium bowl, combine the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Refrigerate while preparing the next layer.

   In a large bowl, whisk together the cold milk and instant vanilla pudding mix for 2 minutes, until thickened. Set aside.
